About We The People Congress
Robert Louis Schulz is a political activist and the Founder and Chairman of the We the People Foundation for Constitutional Education, a non-profit education and research organization with the declared mission "to protect and defend individual Rights as guaranteed by the Constitutions of the United States." An engineer by training, Schulz has filed over one hundred court actions on a pro se basis, against government actions that are unconstitutional deprivations of individual liberty.
Tony Futia for the past 10 years has lead a protest against the IRS and their unconstitutional practices. Futia’s protest centers on his belief, and the belief of the We The People Foundation for Constitutional Education that he is a member of, that there is no law requiring most US citizens in the 50 states to pay their Federal Income Tax. Futia, and We The People want their day in court to argue that the 16th Amendment to the US Constitution, ratified in 1913, does not require every American to pay a federal income tax. The amendment establishes “Congress’s right to impose a Federal Income Tax.” Prior to 1913, there was no Federal Income Tax in the US.
